The only Salt Plant Garden in Korea

It is the only salt plant garden in Korea where visitors can observe the ecology of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The tidal flats in the Taepyung Salt Farm are where the healthy salt plants growing on the tidal flat minerals form communities. Representatively, the glasswort, known to be the red ginseng of the sea for its rich mineral and saponin content, Calystegia soldanella, sweetbrier, East Asian seepweed and more than 100 kinds of halophytes can be observed here.
